Closet Classic – Jesse James Hughes vs Anthony Stephens
Monday, June 21st, 2010Can’t deny this one it’s place in the hearts of those who root for the underdog! Hughes had absolutely no chance to beat Stephens for the USBA title and he somehow found a way to no only beat him but break him. Although, I would say the Stone fight was the most dramatic fight Jesse has ever fought this would have to be my favorite of all time. The way Stephens just collapsed like a falling scaffold from ten stories up was reminiscent of the way Morrison dropped Ruddock in round six with that stealthy retreating hook.
It’s late and I have work tomorrow enjoy and good night! over and out! I just joined amazon affiliates program which gives me the opportunity to create some revenue for the site.
